Training Leaders for the Church

Today, we are emphasizing the critical role of theological education in equipping church leaders. In France, the institutions and educators involved in theological training and for the raising up of new leaders to serve the growing needs of the church is vital as the church has moved from 50,000 to 1.1 million people since 1950. The Institut Biblique de Nogent has been pivotal in providing training to future church leaders.

Pray: for new callings to the ministry.
Pray: for the collaboration between churches and training institutions.

Prayers for the Games:

Health and Well-Being of Athletes

Today, we are praying for the health and well-being of all athletes participating in the Games. Athletes train rigorously and face high physical demands. We ask for their protection from injuries and illness. Today is also the day when Sport and Faith will go out into the streets of Saint-Etienne to share Christ!

Pray: for physical and mental strength for all the athletes coming to or already in France.
Pray: for quick recovery from injuries and moral fortitude.
