The northernmost region, formed from Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardy, is famous for its Gothic cathedrals and World War I history. Lille, the capital, is known for its vibrant cultural scene and Flemish influences. The Centre de la Réconciliation in Lille has been active in supporting vulnerable communities.

Pray: for the ongoing work of Centre de la Réconciliation in Lille.
Pray: for the spiritual and social transformation of vulnerable communities in Hauts-de-France.

Unity Among Churches

Today, we are praying for unity among churches in Paris during the Games. Unity strengthens the witness of the Church. Let’s ask the Lord for greater cooperation and a shared vision among local churches.

Pray: for humility leading to servant-hearted collaboration.
Pray: for a greater realization of the need for a shared vision among the churches.
